bidsandpieces - the history

The very first items we sold in Aldershot were buttons and little fabric bears. We then added a few odd items to our haberdashery stock, tape measures, household sewing needles etc and received the frequent comment - we can't get this anywhere nowadays. And thus bidsandpieces was born. Why bids as opposed to bits?? I'm Bid (short for Bridget) and this was the first name that came to mind and it has always stuck. The name is well known locally for haberdashery and crafting and is synonymous with inspiration and ideas. We have made many friends along the way and continue to do so. We encourage crafting in all its many ways, bidsandpieces is inspiration.
